# Lobster Protocol

> Lobster is an on-chain Market Making as a Service for regulated asset managers, family offices and crypto treasuries. Lobster runs delta-neutral concentrated liquidity on blue-chip DeFi pools (Uniswap V3 and compatible CL DEXs on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain) on behalf of professional investors. Custody stays with the client at all times: Lobster operates as a scoped signer on the client's Safe and can be revoked in one transaction.

## What Lobster does

- Operates concentrated-liquidity positions on blue-chip pairs (BTC/cbBTC, ETH/wstETH, USDC/USDT and similar).
- Hedges directional exposure so the strategy is delta-neutral by construction.
- Selects pools, sets ranges and rebalances based on quantitative models · range, pool selection and rebalance cadence are model-driven per engagement.
- Reports P&L net of impermanent loss against a 50/50 hold benchmark, with full attribution (fees, IL, hedge P&L, gas).

## Custody and security model

- Funds remain in a Safe owned by the client.
- Lobster is added as a scoped signer with a strict on-chain permission: only whitelisted LP actions execute. Transfers, withdrawals, signer changes are blocked at the contract level.
- Revocation is one transaction from the client's Safe. No ticket, no support call, no off-chain trust.
- Built on Safe (the institutional standard for on-chain custody).

## Commercial model

- Performance fee only. No management fee.

## Risk disclosure

Capital at risk. Smart-contract, market, liquidity, MEV/oracle and impermanent-loss exposure are bounded by the hedge but not eliminated. Full pre-contractual disclosure delivered at onboarding under NDA.
